Special Beginner's Prize!
All "Beginners" (defined as people who have been using Poser for less than one year) will be judged separately. To be considered for the special beginner's prize, entrants must have been using the software for less than one year. Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder.
Contest Sponsors are responsible for prize distribution.

Packages have been assigned randomly to the different prize groups and is not an indicator of value and/or merchant quality.

Winners must supply an email and shipping address to receive a print of their winning image.

Contest Rules:

Create an image based on the poem, "The Muse". Images will be judged on how well they fit the poem, creativity and quality.

Please use your imagination. The main characters don't have to be human!

Images must be submitted by Midnight, April 30th, 2005 (Renderosity time)

Judging will take place over the following week

Winners will be announced May 7th, 2005

The contest is open to everyone, but must include a Poser figure

Backgrounds can be made in other programs

Postwork is allowed

The image must be your own original artwork. No copycats! Copy cats will be disqualified

Images must be submitted here to "The Muse" contest. The image must be new and not posted in any gallery prior to this contest. Once the image has been approved to the contest gallery, the image can be posted in your gallery with comments and rankings enabled

Nudity is allowed

The image must stick to the theme and comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service

Only one entry per person

Judging:

Images will be judged on how well they fit the poem, creativity and quality

Judging will be done by visualgirl, iamkate101, grlrabbit and 1010

How to enter:

Your image must be in .gif or .jpg format and no larger than 1024x1024 pixels

Your thumbnail should be in .gif or .jpg format and no larger than 100 x100 pixels

If you are a beginner (have been using the software less than one year) please state this in the notes section

All entries will be reviewed before being posted. Please do not post the image to your own gallery until this time
