All entrants agree, by entering this contest, to allow Renderosity and FXR Software to use their entries for promotional purposes: online, digital, in print, on CD, or in any other medium. Also, by submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in it's archive and to display the the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held as a part, or extension of this community. Renderosity and FXR Software do not seek ownership of any of the entries! The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their entry images.

Contest Rules:

Contest Theme is: "Walk on the Wild Side!"
Submit your best walking creature animation using at least one element from "Creature Creator Pro - Lite". Click here to download the FREE DEMO. Use Creature Creator Pro for the premodeling of your character, then export the character to any 3D software for texturing and animation. Contest begins Friday, February 25, 2005. Contest ends CLOSING DATE EXTENDED TO: Friday, May 6, 2005 at 12:00p.m. (NOON) Renderosity Server Time. Entries MUST be timestamped by Friday, May 6, 2005, 12:00p.m., or cannot be accepted. Judging will take place May 7-May 12. Winners to be announced Friday, May 13, 2005 in the Contest forum and on the Renderosity FrontPage.

Specifications:
To submit a new contest entry you will need: Still image from animation in jpg or gif format. (800x600 or smaller) Thumbnail Image: MUST be included. (100 x 100 pixels in jpg or gif format.) Animation file. (Renderosity will be hosting the files.) Notes section please include: file size, length (viewing time), and format.
Animation specifications: Audio is optional, but desirable. Animation File Size: 10 meg maximum. Animation formats: DivX, .avi, .mpg or standard .mov. Entries exceeding these size specifications, or use other file formats, or that the Renderosity Judging Panel cannot open or play, using standard players, will be disqualified.

Contents: Must use at least one creature from Creature Creator Pro-Lite. Any additional software may be also be used. Must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service. By uploading your image you are agreeing that this is your original work. Also, by uploading your entry you are certifying that all models used in the image are free from print and publication restrictions

Judging: The winning entries will be selected by representatives of FXR Software and Renderosity Judging will be based upon the following categories: lighting, texturing, originality, technical merit. Judging will be ranked by category on a scale of 1-10. Judges will perform independent reviews of the submissions. All members, with the exception of the Judges or current Admins, can enter.The Judges' decision is final.
