General Contest Rules
🌟 General Rules
- Eligible: All Renderosity members are eligible. (Except staff).
- Original Work Only: Images previously entered in any Renderosity contest are not allowed; images posted elsewhere (e.g., your gallery or Facebook) are fine.
- Entry Limit: Up to 7 entries.
- Share & Promote: Feel free to repost your entries and rally friends.
- No Mature Content: Anything needing a profanity/violence/nudity tag is disqualified. (Images with weapons, or objects that could be used as weapons will be staff reviewed).
- No Childlike Suggestive Imagery: Entries featuring children or childlike figures in suggestive poses will be rejected.
- Quick Reviews: “Questionable” entries go to Staff Review (24 hr turnaround). Late reviews past the deadline will be rejected.
- Auto Thumbnails: No upload needed—thumbnails are generated for you.
- Rule Changes: Renderosity reserves the right to modify these rules as needed for unforeseen circumstances.
- Agreement: By submitting, you confirm it’s your own work and that you’ve read our TOS.
- Artists who have won a prize in the last 6 months will not be eligible for this contest. We encourage everyone to keep creating and join us in future challenges.
đź“‚ Entry Specifications
- Dimensions: Minimum 600 Ă— 600 px, maximum 1200 Ă— 1200 px (both width and height must fall within this range).
- Required Description: Each entry must include:
- Software & Tools Used (e.g., “Poser, Dawn 2, Photoshop”).
- Workflow Overview (e.g., “Modeled in ZBrush, rendered in Blender’s Cycles, color-graded in Photoshop”).
- Any AI Postprocessing steps (if applicable).
- Image Naming: Do not include your real name, username, or any logos in the image.
- Signatures & Credits: You may sign or credit yourself only in the description box of your upload.
- AI Usage:
- Not Allowed: Any image generated wholly by an AI seed or keyword prompt.
- Allowed: Artist-created images with AI used only for postprocessing (color correction, tone, saturation, or special effects).
- Requirement: Provide a step-by-step workflow in your description. Renderosity may request WIP screenshots or other proof; failure to comply can lead to disqualification.
Voting Rules

- Community-Powered: Winners by popular vote—5 votes per member.
- Each member gets five votes total–one vote maximum for one of their own entries, and the remaining four must be used for other entrants’ images.
- Fair Play: Duplicate (“clone”) votes are removed.

- Winner Details: Prize recipients must provide their real name, email, and mailing address for prize fulfillment.
- Shipping Costs: Winners could be responsible for additional shipping fees for overseas delivery.
- Promotional Use: By entering, you grant Renderosity permission to feature your submission in any promotional materials (online, print, digital media, etc.).
- Image Rights: You remain the copyright holder; entering simply gives us non-exclusive rights to use your work for advertising and community showcases.
