Art Director Mark Kremers has asked our members to create a front-page image for Subbacultcha Magazine, a free magazine in the Netherlands. The magazine has an open policy for their covers, the only limitation is that there has to be a face involved.
Rules: *Image submitted to contest can be no larger than 999x999. However, user must be willing to submit a hi-res image for printing. It must be AT LEAST 210w mm x 297h mm 300dpi, with the ideal size being 841w mm x 1189h mm 300dpi. *Entries MUST include a thumbnail image! *No nudity, implied sexuality, or violence. *Contest is open to all of Renderosity (It's short, though, so let's get going!) *Collaboration IS allowed, but all participants must post the entries to the challenge. *There is a thread to discuss the challenge in the Poser forum. Please post your questions there so we can answer your questions! *There is no prize purse for this challenge, however the winning image will be published on the front cover of Subbacultcha Magazine. Entrants will be mentioned. *3 Entries per member. *The image description given is: "The model is blowing a bubble with gum, and inside the bubble is a cute, but menacing looking cartoony creature, a short haired Chihuahua with black eyes sharp teeth and a diamante necklace. She is looking downwards into the bubble. her eyes are entranced, hypnotically, doll like in the way they are beautiful but totally dead. They could even have spirals. The bubble is no ordinary gum, as it's very thin, and shiny, almost like a soap bubble you'd blow in the wind, this is so that we don't miss the highly glossed lips beneath. "
Further Image Requests: *The girl should be between 14 and 16. *The lighting should be ambient. Almost as if someone is looking at their cell phone in the dark. *Her hair should be unnaturally bright and colored and in pigtails of some sort. *Her eyes should appear like she's in a trance. *Eyes should be a dark brown. *Makeup should be that of a teen. Pastels, fun colors. *Skin should, again, be that of a teen. Dewy and soft. *She's listening to her MP3 player. *She's got a simple necklace with a charm around her neck. Judging / Voting: Voting will take place August 18, 2010 in the Subbacultcha offices. Results will be given by September 1, 2010 Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of the submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artists will remain the intellectual property holder.
