Congratulations to Paulienchen, our August Artist of the Month!

After the community voted her into the spotlight, we asked her a few questions about her artistic inspiration, favorite works, and advice for fellow artists.

What inspires your artwork the most, and how has that inspiration evolved over time?

"I find inspiration in the people I meet, the world I see, and my surroundings. I want my images to bring joy and happiness to others."

Is there a particular render or project in your gallery that you are especially proud of? What makes it meaningful to you?

"There are many beautiful images in my gallery that I am especially proud of. The ones that mean the most to me are those that have received the most ratings and thoughtful comments. I love reading how other artists see my work, and their feedback continues to inspire me."

What advice would you give to artists who are just starting out or who want to improve their skills?

"I have been creating artwork for almost 30 years, and I still notice mistakes in some of my older images. That's okay—the more you learn, the more beautiful your artwork becomes. Believe me, I am still learning too! Don't give up. Even a poor review can be valuable because you can learn from it. I always look forward to seeing every new image that you create."
