Lake Quinault (pronounced: kwin-ALT) is on the Olympic Penninsula in Washington state, in the Olympic National Forest. I only got to visit for a few minutes in March (which is why no people) several years ago. Lovely area.

Meanwhile, this is a great lake background with reasonably creepy trees and gloomy overcast. Lots of things could happen here!
