Another photograph from the 1980s. This was taken from the mountainside above the University of Cape Town, and shows the city covered in an early winter inversion layer - there really is a city of around 4 million people under there!

Pentax SLR, probably Fuji film, forgotten the rest (if I ever knew it...). Signature and some minor retouching done in PSP.

Very cool the atmospherics in this one.I'm gonna guess there is some kind of factory below that cloud layer,and these are the plumes of smoke from the chimney stacks.Nice image!
