Can we have a facility to easily bookmark individual posts within a thread?

Many forums do this. DAZ can do it e.g. the link to post 9 of my "Forum Query: Why Doesn’t Underline Underline ?" thread is http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewthread/43825/#644265

I can get the URL for any post on the DAZ forums by clicking the post number (at the top right of the post in square brackets witha hash sign, e.g. [#9])

The 3Dcheapskate (also available in DAZ and HiveWire3D flavours) occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.

This is a second post that I want to bookmark/get the URL of.

To find the URL of that second post I currently have to look at the HTML page source, find the text at the start of that post, search back from there to find the tag, and then combine that with the URL of the thread http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2883672 by using a hash, i.e.

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2883672#message_4166933

(N.B. I know that when you post you can grab the URL of the post you just made from the address bar, e.g. this third post was...

I'm sure Renderosity forums used to have this?

I notice that the forums look different today. So I searched around to see if you can bookmark a particular post now...

No you can't. That was wishful thinking!   :o(

(and now the workaround outlined in my third post no longer seems to work...   :o(   :o(   :o(   )

That wasn't there four hours ago.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

It's not there now either (at least not for me) - just a dark grey square (I'm using Firefox 33.0.1 with all plug-ins disabled, and the the Ad Block extension enabled (that's where the 'Block' comes from. Edit: even with all add-ons disabled it's still just a dark grey square)

file_a597e50502f5ff68e3e25b9114205d4a.jp(BWsupport posted here http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2885835&page_number=2 that this was a good idea, and later edited the post to say they'd added the 'Copy Link' button that Miss Nancy mentioned. Looks like they it's still a WIP...   ;o)

Apparently they've implemented it using Flash (which is why I can't see it - I run Firefox with all plug-ins disabled and a couple of add-ons enabled). Enabling flash I see it and it works, so it's easier than having to search the page source.

Why flash (I asked)? So that the URL can be automatically copied to the clipboard, meaning you don't have to cut-and-paste the URL from the address bar (see BWSupport's post here)

Personally I'd have preferred each post to contain a link to itself (like many other forums do, e.g. DAZ and RDNA) - you click that link and then manually copy the URL from the address bar. Maybe I should have specified that in my original suggestion...  :)
