August 2005 AOM - LICORNEDECRISTAL

Message2353406.jpgWho is LICORNEDECRISTAL and how did you come by your username? Llicornedecristal is a 35 years old passionate photographer, living the France, in the Seine et Marne region. I am married, with two children who are the joy of my life. As for the origin of my user name (licornedecristal = crystal unicorn), my childhood was filled with stories and legends of faeries, wizards and unicorns for I was born in Brittany, not far from the fabled forest of Broceliande. Later, I created the character of a crystal unicorn to entertain my children. I simply used the same name when I became a member, as a lucky charm. How long have you have you been creating computer graphics? Three years ago, I received my first digital camera as a Mothers Day present. It was a very simple camera, but it was enough to get started and post my first pictures in Renderosity galleries. This is how my profound passion for Photography started. Do you have traditional art experience? [Laughter] I have no traditional Art experience whatsoever I even used to be a nightmare to my Art professors when I was in school. What are you currently working on? Right now, I am trying to improve my skills with Macro photography and Portraits. As soon as I am satisfied, I will be thrilled to share my pictures with you. What software/equipment do you use and why? I currently have a Canon EOS, several lenses, and both Paint Shop Pro 8 and Photoshop to touch up my pictures. What do you think your best piece of work is and why? My favorite picture is Luna my mare. I was fortunate enough to witness her birth. When I took this picture, I could feel a profound harmony between both of us.

Who/what inspires you? Difficult question I would say nature is what inspires me the most. How has this online community (Renderosity) enhanced your work, relationships, and learning? This community allowed me to live my passion for Photography completely. It is such a wonderful way to express yourself. Photography allowed me to become more confident in myself and to progress with every picture. I love to watch the pictures of other artists, and I also enjoy commenting on them. For me, these exchanges are moments of pure joy. Parting comments and/or advice to other Artists? Be creative, share, live your passion.

Qui se cache derriere 'LICORNEDECRISTAL' et d'ou vient ce nom d'utilisateur ? Derrie licornedecristal se cache une photographe amateur de 35 ans vivant en france en seine et marne,mari ayant deux enfants qui sont ma joie de vivre. Pour mon nom d utilisateur,mon enfance a berc d histoire et de lendes remplies de fs ,magiciens,et licornes car je suis n en Bretagne pres de la for de Broceliande,plus tard j avais inventun personnage de lende qui etait une licorne en verre pour amuser mes enfants..j ai tout simplement repris le nom de ce personnage ..qui est en quelque sorte un porte bonheur. Depuis combien de temps avez vous travaille dans la Creation Numerique ? C' est a l 'occasion d' une fete des mes il y a trois ans que j ai eu mon premier appareil photo numique,appareil basique et pas tres perfectionnavec lequel j ai fait mes duts,d ailleurs mes premiers post sur renderosity avaient e fait avec cet appareil....en tout cas ma grande passion pour la photo venait de naitre. Avez vous de l'experience traditionelle en matiere d'Art ? Lol ,je n ai aucune experience en matiere d art...j etait meme le cauchemar de mes professeurs de dessin. Sur quoi etes-vous en train de travailler en ce moment ? En ce moment j essaie de me perfectionner en macro et en portraits et quand je serai satisfaite de mes resultats c est avec un orme plaisir que je partagerai avec vous mon travail. Quels sont vos logiciels/outils favoris et pour quelles raisons ? Je travaille avec un canon eos et differents objectifs et aussi psp 8 et ps comme logiciels de retouche photo Quelle est votre meilleure creation et pourquoi ? pour moi c est Luna ma meilleure crtion....car c est une jument que j ai vu naitre....et le jour ou j ai pris cette photo j ai ressentie une tres forte harmonie entre nous deux.

Quels artistes vous inspirent le plus ? Difficile de rondre,je dirais la" nature" Quel a ete l'impact de la communaute en ligne de Renderosity sur votre travail, vos relations, vote experience ? La communautm a permis de vivre pleinement ma passion pour la photo,c est un moyen merveilleux d expression,elle m a permis de prendre confiance en moi et de progresser tout les jours. j adore aller regarder le travail des autres artistes,le commenter.....tous ces hanges sont pour moi des instants fabuleux de pur bonheur. En conclusion, avez vous quelques conseils pour les autres artistes de ce site ? creer ,partager,viver votre passion .
