| I built this set up from scratch, I was living in a very old and haunted warehouse built on top of our town's first cemetary..... it was an amazing place and I lived there for 7 years. I had the space to build sets and I collected alot of amazing bits and pieces.... the front half of the warehouse was a boxing gym and after completing the set I went out and saw this young boxer warming up, I asked him to come out and have a look at what I had put together and he jumped at the opportunity to be involved... I had a 4 x 5 inch Sinar (camera) set up and shot one frame of film.... as I pressed the shutter he closed his eyes and did a cross over skip.. I knew I had caught it in one frame.... I said "That's It!" and this is the resulting image. My mum looked at it and said that it looks like he has floated down off the cross on the wall..... I miss that old studio... I am about to build my 9th and final studio and it will be an amazing place...more of that soon. cheers my friends Doc C |

Excellent! | |
Wow, excellent image and scene, I could easily mistake the towel at the door behind him for a set of angelwings. Maybe that's why he floats :)

Haunted houses are always so inspiring ! The picture is stuning, the setting and more the colours , the way you made the harmony between the brown , blue and red plus the touch of yellow to enhance the whole scene. Brilliant, my friend!
there is a fine line between a photo and a painting where either could be confused for the other - this is at that cusp!
by Inspired_Art on Oct 4, 2010 2:18:53 am [homepage] I agree with Rene...I wonder how much a BIG print of this would cost?

great setting and scene, wonderfully done - fantastic
This kinda blows me away. Looking at it is almost like looking at a painting rather than a photograph and the closeup makes it feel even more so. Just such a great shot.
Fantastic realistic scene - super work!
