Subject: Bug(z) in Body Shop v1.0 utility

  1. I'm afraid that there is a problem with the 'Compact Normals' feature of the new Body Shop utility (in the free stuff section). It may produce bad data and in any event, it produces incorrect normals. I have found and fixed that problem, but was in the middle of adding some new features so it may be a day or two before a new version gets posted. Until then, I'd suggest not using the 'Compact Normals' feature. 2. When you export an .obj file with the 'Reverse Faces' option checked, the normals are reversed. This causes the model to look very dark (in apps that use the included normals.. many compute their own). This will also be fixed in the next version.
