Thanks - workflow in case you are interested -
First of all used Topaz Adjust 5, applied the Crisp filter to bring out the details, then applied the Color Blast filter to bring out the colours.
Next opened the adjusted image in Photo Donut and applied a Watercolor filter.
Opened the Photo Donut image in Paint Shop Pro and adjusted the transperancy to 75% of the original image which I still had open in PSP.

Carrara is playing up for me lately, since the last Nvidia update or since I installed Nvidia broadcast, not sure which but my graphics are acting up, stops being able to render viewport. leaves ghost instances of interface tabs, all the stuff it used to do on my Windows Vista craptop back in 2010, like it has no graphics card but Octane render works and uses it so it's the UI mucking up.
Also it didn't save any of my shaders in the scene and I had to redo every one!
this scene, V4 wearing Wilderlander 7 (maybe it hates the duf transfer utility fitted to legacy in the DAZ studio plugin)
I never simulated the fur, only some draping, simulation frequently messes up my interface

awesome Stezza and I did solve my issue
Nvidia Broadcast runs in the background on start up so have to manually quit it from the task bar
it messes with lots of things that use the GPU, not just Carrara
I still want to use it so need to find how to change that setting, for now I just kill it

in windows search type system configuration
then when that starts up open the tab for Startup
open Task Manager and deselect the apps you don't want to start when windows boots up ;-)

cool.. that was my next suggestion and if not that then:
Check the startup folder, first press Win+R to open Run. Enter shell:startup for current user programs or shell:common startup for system-wide startup programs, then click "OK."
Your startup folder might be empty, depending on how new your computer is or what applications you've downloaded. If that's the case, you have no action to take.
When you've identified something you want to remove from your startup process, right-click it and select "Delete."

Yes, the place is pretty empty. I stick my head in from time to time. If we don't use this place, we lose it. I had my main Hard Drive go down, so I just got back on my feet. Still with Carrara, although I'm looking into Unreal Engine a bit.have to update my profile at some point, lol

Ha ha it was from one of our challenges. No not suspended but warned and my account is retsricted. A friend posted a weird medeiavl beehive with demons xoming out of it. I commented "who needs drugs?" Meanjng: when there is an image like that who needs to take illicit substabces etc. Fb basically accused me of selling drugs ! It tells me it wont show my posts to many people any more as my punishment. I have deactivated my account for a while as i was spending too much time there anywhere and they can go and procreate with themselves. Trouble is i need to sell some vintage surfboards on fb group :)
