yep. Carrara is still alive.
Thank you to Philemo for creating the HD Plugin and Phong Tesselation plugin.
Its a means of using the HD add ons, HD Dog8, HD Horse 2. Genesis 2
The problem comes in for Carrar, cuz those hd morphs are encrypted files and cant be natively read.
A little bit of prep, can bring these characters into Carrara in full HD.

and beyond ds encrypyted hd morphs, this plugin can be used with your own zbrush or sculptris creations.
I havent studied hd in the newer poser content. I'm just guessing la femme has some hd to her physique.
The Phong Tesselation Plugin is for micro displacement.
Its for using like the Michael 4 displacement maps in Carrara. or other poser style displacement.
Vascular displacement maps!

I got him to work!!!!
dunno about JCMs just the HDmorph
I made a UV preset and also exported with his UV and didn't check the weld option and now it works fine

theres a couple of hd morphs for the g8m's monty.
it's driving me crazy, cant get the uncircumsized version to show in carrara. dunno know where the skin is
