Mystiarra on Daz Carrara forum posted about this one, and I think the link should be shared here, too. I had not heard of Arthur Carrara. Never looked into the name, but check out this article about him! I'm adding this article, too

Fascinating! As you can see for the person Carrara, so goes the product Carrara: Technical genius does not always translate into marketing success or fame or even a decent amount of appreciation. Sad but true... Thanks for sharing!

NetWorthy, I'm glad you enjoyed the articles! Fascinating is the word. And the man even had flexagons for building models. To me, these seem analogous to polygonal surfaces. We may only hope the Carrara 3D program someday enjoys some sort of renaissance. As long as people still use it, it will live.
Did you know people still use TrueSpace? That's mindboggling!
