 **Welcome to October 2013 Photography Forum Challenge.**

What do we enjoy other other than the capturing of light?

Photography (Greek photos- for "light" and -graphos for "drawing") is the art, science, and practice of creating durable images by recording light.

 Light up our lives at RR this month!

Please remember:

Two images per member per week.
Image size: No larger than:
800pixels X 600pixels
and 200KB

My two uploads for the new challenge.

My first a upload of a poppy and one can see the shadow of a bee thanks to the way the light is reflecting through the flower.

My second upload for the week! :-)

Inside of baroque church of San Giuliano, located in Catania, Crociferi Street, a road that with his churches and monasteries is an example of baroque architecture.

Altar is a palatial building in polychrome marble and gilded bronze, on top is placed a crucifix of the fourteenth century.

We went to Bodie, California yesterday.  This is inside one of the houses that were open to the public.  It will probably show up in my gallery later ... I really liked the way this turned out!

The light on the wall, seen above my computer. This was taken last week, when we had not yet received all new windows, and the below windows of the room were closed with chipboard.

(The painting, plus doll that's on the mantelpiece, made by myself)

This was at the Annenburg Estate outside Palm Springs, California, a couple days ago.  The harsh desert light down here can be pretty challenging!

Well, here nr. one: Karel and Miriam, here searching for mushrooms, otherwise we have nothing to eat. LOL The light is shining through the woods, as you can see.

Hehe, there is light on the end of the tunnel :)

This is a hollow path/road, as we call it. They are typical here in South Limburg.
You see them a lot in the fields and forests, and you can only go on foot there,
because they are all very narrow, and deep too.
Usually you have to go 'one after another one' (in a row).
