I am facing some problem in importing objects from Carrara to DAZ studio.
I wanted to sculpt some extra creature characteristics in V4.2. That's what I have done in Carrara. After that I wanted to move the figure back to DAZ studio to pose it and render it with other props and hair etc. What I have found out so far is that I can import the object as .obj file to DAZ or by a .dae file. Here .obj file import works fine. But as we all know that .obj does not have the provision to pose (it acts as a still object, no poseable) it does not help my need. Then I tried to import it as .dae file. I exported the file with the settings as shown in the picture. But while I imported the .dae in DAZ studio - man, it was a total disaster. V4.2 could not be recognized as a human figure at all (but all the active morohs are being imported properly.)
I have also tried to import the v4.2 figure without any edit from carrara to DAZ by .dae file, and the result is similar. So I dont think I have messed up V4.2 figure while sculpting which causes this.
If anyone has any idea on this please help. I am using Carrara 8 8.0.1.45 and DAZ Studio 4.0 pro

You need to load you deformed Vic as a morph. Theres a morph loader for Daz Studio.
