in the render, but in the assembly room it looks like where i wanted it to be just lying on the ground. i'm using a preset sunset scene. love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

If you check the scene in four views mode, you will be able to see the actual height position better. Sometimes perspective views can be misleading.

Are you using a 'realistic sky' for the background? Maybe your 'ground' setting in the properties panel is setting the ground above Z=0 so then your cup sitting on 0 is below the ground. Check your settings in the scene panel. If this is ok, how about posting the file here? Or some screenshots?

Hello, I was trying to make some screen shots today but now that I have reopened the file the problem seems to be gone, but it may have been that I was doing something silly before. Well anyway, I'm just trying a full render from another angle to be sure, but I think it is all okay. Love esther
