I broke down and purchased a few models from Daz. The hair and other elements are post production. I kept running into a freeze while trying to add hair to the bear after bringing it in with Transposer. I used native import and didn't have an issue, but this model has seams that I was able to avoid keeping it in Transposer. Nice thing is, I don't have to go back to pose it, just adjust in Carrara. The post color variations in Photoshop are nice to play around with. Saturation seems to be an issue with some of my renders. But Carrara does a better job than...Vue. The scenes I see done in Vue seem to be undersaturated quite often. BTW, the bear gets away! R

Just an update. I did make an image by adding AGhair to a polar bear model in Carrara and played around with it, but now I can't seem to get it to work. Next I'll try only using Transposer 2 and then adding the AGfur. Thing is, it's nice to be able to animate it. Could it be the texture? R

Transposer keeps a link to Poser, so the objects brought in that way are sorta 'locked.' So that would keep you from adjusting them properly. The native imports are just that, imports. So they become editable objects, with all that means. Loss of connection to the animation in Poser for one. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that's your problem. (BTW, he's that fast of a swimmer? Or does a penguin come along and yank him out? ;) )

ominousplay for the oversat you should try the shoe string shaders plugin. There is a plugin you can use in the channels for that. Also gamma can help, but there is a limit there.

No need to think outside the box....
