Wow that was fast, it's been out what? A month?

About 3 weeks. ;-)

I wish Mickeysloth updated that fast! Then again Eovia is a much better run company ;>

Eovia is the best!

When I popped in my serial number, I got the following error: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: '[string: ""]' /forms_asp/patch.asp, line 15

It works if you put the password in though. Perhaps the label needs changing....

Just hit refresh for that window and that error will clear out and take you to the download screen.

I can't get in! I forget my password, ok... my fault :( BUT... when I fill in the form for having them re-send it to me, I get: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e' Invalid use of Null: 'replace' /forms_asp/inc/mail.asp, line 58 AND... no email shows up in my in-box with my password. Anyone with thoughts on getting around this, shy of creating a new account at Eovia? Using Firefox, or IE, same thing.

Have you tried contacting their support line? Or emailing the webmaster?

Not yet, I was wondering if anyone else was getting the same problem... I had a lot of problems downloading the content CD too... but that they had to straighten out with element5. I guess I will throw myself on their mercy once more... Happy new year all! :D

Turns out (blushes with embarasment) it says that if you signed up before 9/15/2005, they changed the system and I should create a new account. (OOPS!) So I did and I got in fine... THEN the download page gave me the same error that AndyCLon had. So I fired up IE instead of Firefox, and re-signed in and no problem. Downloading as I speak. Go figure... Thanx for your thoughts!

IE and Firefox handle Java and dynamic data a bit differently which is why they are not 100% compatable. Which reeks because I hate IE but some sites don't like Firefox so you kind of have to use it sometimes.

I notice a lot of poeple using hate to motivate themselves. But it always becomes a very controlling influence in the wrong direction.
