www.animalpicturesarchive.com.......The most fabulous pics I've seen...of course you will have contact the photographer for permission on some...I personally find the site invaluable for use with high quality animal textures(fur) & they made make good "outlines/tracings" for those of us attempting 3d modeling. Especially for those of us who can't draw with a mouse ;) or don't have control with the pen yet LOL Debby

Oh, I remember this. If this is the site I'm thinking of, it was set up to archive images posted to the Usenet group alt.binaries.pictures.animals.

yup you're right VampireWriter, usenet people have been using it for years... it used to be hosted on the old biokordic.kr server in Korea before they got their own domain name
