Poser 14 is a disgusting, below-minimum effort embarrassment, and Poserplay was a disgusting embarrassment too...  There's nothing in Poser 14 that should not have been included as a patch to 13 (especially the Cycles stuff, which was advertised and never fully delivered in 13).  Poser is NOT a market leading premium program any more. Stop acting and pricing like it is. Hard to argue that the future of Poser is not a total dead end...

Paring down your statement to its bones, I cannot help but agree with you. I have purchased and used almost every single version since 4+ and right now there is only one feature that is keeping me: THE COMIC BOOK PREVIEW.

If Daz adopts an OpenGL b&w line art render (and no, their anemic toon-shader-or-whatever-the-hell-they're-doing doesn't count: it's crap), I won't see much reason to stay with Poser. That makes me sad because I think Poser was once a very important and powerful tool and I'm still using it to create almost everything I make. I also prefer the way Poser handles lights and cameras to how Daz Studio handles them (for heaven's sake, Daz, get face and hand cams!).

I'm hoping Bondware steps away from this as a lesson learned and gets on the ball with some cool enhancements, and SOON.
