Hey, thanks for the feedback...

re: Default options...

Yeah, I saw that Omit Split Edges makes the Welds redundant, but as you mentioned, it doesn't really hurt anything having it set (that test is not run by the code if both are set) and the welds test on props is only a few seconds... I'd rather have it enabled by default - that solves more problems than causes (as far as I know currently, there's never a time when you'd want to include welds).

As for Edges... you have a point about lashes, but that's something that would be noticable once you ran the script... the bigger concern, IMO, would be things like the head->neck intersection... something you might not notice has been horked until later.  So again, IMO, enabled by default is the best setting.

Feel free to change the defaults in your own copy of it :).

re: Tolerances...

Just for future reference, you can't really compare tolerances used with your script with mine... 0.1 would be a huge (extremely loose) tolerance for my script.  I know you didn't say that you used it with mine, I'm just noting that the values may mean different things to each script.

re: Failure...

Yes, I'd really like to try your test-case to see what's going wrong.  I have an idea about the "skipped all together" issue, but I'd like to test it here.  I know that you're intimately familiar with operating your script (which I had little luck using) and the reverse is true as well, so I if I can figure out why your test-case is failing, that might help me adjust my instructions/description of the process for others.
