Vote for December 2012 Artist of the Month!
November 28, 2012 12:23 am
Each month the Renderosity community votes on The Renderosity Artist Of The Month [AOM] ... December's AOM will be an artist from one of the following galleries: Blender 3D, ZBrush, Maya, Shade, Modo, Carrara, or Wings 3D.
If you are unfamiliar with the work of our nominees, please take a few moments to look over their galleries. Please consider the entire body of work by each nominee. Click on the names below to view their respective gallery.
The vote will run through Saturday, December 1st, with the results posted shortly thereafter.
Each member gets one vote, so please choose carefully! Clone voting and solicitation of votes are unfair practices and will be taken into consideration at the close of voting.
Artist of the Month is highlighting a
talented Renderosity artist that has been nominated by mods and
admins, and voted by the community. Recognition is given to this
member for their collection of works for that year.
Since we only select one AOM per month, it is not about their works for that particular month. Instead, it is about highlighting a talented artist's works for that year, and they are recognized during that month.

Styles of some of these artists is like comparing beginners work to masters. ...I hope everybody that votes takes the time to make a good evaluation instead of voting for someone they know - I don't know any of these artist and without saying who I voted for, the artist I did vote for I feel his style is close to an artist that is well loved here and considered up at the top... he two has won artist of the month and taken home 1st place in a halloween contest here a few years back.... anyone reading this and looks at the artists will know EXACTLY what and who I'm talking about. good luck to all, however, I think there is a clear choice who this AOM should be... and after I voted, I saw they were in the lead.
This is the first time I decided to vote, and it seems somewhat unfair, having to choose from a mix of artists who use completely different approaches (premade content vs Zbrush vs "oldschool" modeling) and, what's worse, have completely different styles and work in different genres =(( I was choosing from "oldschool" modelers because I find it the most difficult skill to develop hence the biggest accomplishment.
Thanks a lot for the nomination. It is a real honor to stand in line with so many gifted artists. -------------------------------------------- I'm not sure if it is really relevant in which way we realized the contents of our galleries. There is surely a different amount of work in each single picture but what counts (imho) is the impression that it has on the beholder. Good luck to all nominees. It's great to be part of this community!
