About me: (I'll keep this short....maybe) At 10 months old I got Polio and was practicly raised in a home for crippled ( I hate that word) children. I was there till tthe age of 14. I then went to a public school. At that time I was the only disabled student. You can imagime how uncomfortable I was. After graduation I went to a rehab center where I met my husband Chuck. It was love at first sight. We were married 9 months later. We were married for 28 years and the the love of my life died of cancer. Now I'm alone and probably will be the  rest of my days.<br /> Crafts: I love to paint. My sister Lorri taught me to paint and once I got started I would paint anything that didn't move. But now, since Post Polio has kicked me in the ass, I dont paint as much. But I still paint. I allso crochet, and do needle work. I've done plastic canvas, cross stitch, beading and so many other things. <br /> Books: I"m a big reader. I read and have all of Stephen Kings books. I even have one that is signed. I also like Anne Rice, Johnathan Kellerman and Dean Koonz. Pretty much if it's about vampires and scary stuff, I like it.<br /> Electronics: I'm also a big video game nut. I have a Playstation, Playstation 2, GameCube, Gameboy Advanced and my computer. I've also taught myself about digital art, graphics and web pages. And I'm looking to learn more.<br /> Movies: Of course anything horror, thriller,drama. But off the top of my head the two fravorite movies are "Interview with a Vampire" and  "The Wizard of Oz"<br /> Collections: Stephen King books, faries and anything country looking.<br /> Music: When I was little I learned to play the piano and read music. I had a piano in my bedroom. Now about listening to music, I like anything from Dean Martin to Nellie. And my cd collectin shows it.<br /> I got my first tattoo last march when I went to Florida for bike week. I plan on getting another one real soon.<br /> I'm insecure about my weight and other thingss about myself. But like I say to others who feel the same way, "Welcome to the real world" lol.<br /> I like to make people laugh<br /> Pets: I have two dogs, a boder collie mix named Murphy, a shit-zu named Nel-Lee and a fish named Bella. I'm hoping to get a parrot.<br /> I don't like people who look down on others<br /> I don't like people who are into themselves and have no respect for others.<br /> I accept people for who they are and expect to be treated the same way.<br /> I like pasta<br /> I love chocolate, lol<br /> I love taking my dogs for long walks on country roads.<br /> I love to play practacl jokes.<br /> I have two country decorated trees in my house.<br /> I have the best mother-in-law in the world, I love her dearly.<br /> I think Graham Norton is so funny, <br /> I hate paying bills.<br /> Getting older scares me.<br /> I'm afraid of falling.<br /> Being alone scares me.<br /> Not being held scares me.<br /> And missing Chuck makes me cry.
