this is a great idea... I think I'm the first one here, I don't see any surprises = lol...I'll come back.

Nathalie_ ( posted at 3:04PM Mon, 14 December 2009

You must clic on view details. It is a great idea.

helgas ( posted at 5:50PM Mon, 14 December 2009

I am lost. Clicked on Details but there is nothing there except a link to this weeks freebies. Do I miss something?

ThreeDeep ( posted at 6:10PM Mon, 14 December 2009

When I do click on "View Details," I get sent to a page with no images. The only links appear to be to the Vendor Holiday Giveaway. Where does the "one surprise a day" part come in?

jamminwolf ( posted at 6:25PM Mon, 14 December 2009

I agree, it's a great idea. But... when I click "view details" it only takes me to the weekly freebies, there's no "surprise of the day" posted here. ...wolfie

View details? Hmm...don't see it. However, I do see a surprise. I had no idea that December 17 was the final day of winter - yahoo!.

tvjwbailey ( posted at 12:05AM Tue, 15 December 2009

Ermmm.. Where does it say "View Details" ??? I don't see anything..

jamminwolf ( posted at 4:04AM Tue, 15 December 2009

Click on the words and you'll see "view details" :) BTW now I see the new sale, it didn't come till later. ...wolfie

Cool idea, Press on the Agenda tab top right of the calander then select something by left clicking on it and press, "View Details".

gojira ( posted at 5:08AM Tue, 15 December 2009

Cool idea . . . !

helgas ( posted at 9:08AM Tue, 15 December 2009

Just figured it out. 1. On the Calendar click on "10a 1st Day of". 2. At the bottom of the pop-up click on "View Details". This takes you to the Special of the Day, good for 24 hours. 3. Yesterday it was Fabiana - Age of Charm Poses and Luz de Imagen, at 60% off.

imari ( posted at 10:55AM Tue, 15 December 2009

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how this works. Also, the emails just seem to be repeats of this calendar. Help, please! :)

macdubhgal ( posted at 11:20AM Tue, 15 December 2009

Yep. It tells us there's a sale. No details on the "Surprise" that I can see. Nice idea. Needs a little work. Thanks for keeping us updated.

helgas ( posted at 11:24AM Tue, 15 December 2009

The second day has problems. Link to Surprise is surprisingly not working. Hope it gets fixed soon.

ThreeDeep ( posted at 11:26AM Tue, 15 December 2009

The "view details" appears in the pop-up when secondary-clicked (="right=clicked" IF you're mousing right-handed). ...At least that's how it worked, yesterday. I could swear it's already the 15th in Rendo Land (Kentucky, isn't it?), since I live on the West Coast of the US, and it's almost 9:30 on the 15th, here. Yet, when I open the pop-up for today, it's entirely grayed out. What's up?

ThreeDeep ( posted at 11:43AM Tue, 15 December 2009

PS: The emails arrive entirely as source code. No images. I have everything set to view images, and everyone else's (including Renderosity's usual emails') images show up fine.

JOdel ( posted at 2:05PM Tue, 15 December 2009

This worked yesterday. It isn't working today. Whatever you did, can you put it back? There is NO "view details' on the pop-up when one clicks on the date. It does not matter whether it is in Agenda, or week or month view. There is no "view details" on the pop-up. All the pop-up says is that it is the 2nd Day of Christmas with today's date, and a close button. Nothing else. Zip. Nil. Nada. There is NO link to where any sale items are posted. So far as I can tell there is NO sale item. (Although, thank you for the opportunity to purchase the Fabiana items yesterday, when you system was working. I do appreciate that.) I might give you more of my money if there actually was a sale. Some people don't have 2-button mice, you know. Option-clicking does nothing. Command-clicking does nothing. Control-clicking brings up the system-level context-sensitive menu, and nothing to so with your site or your page. Sorry, but this simply is not working.

"2. At the bottom of the pop-up click on "View Details". This takes you to the Special of the Day, good for 24 hours." I never saw, and still don't see, any view details option. Browser issue?

StaceyG ( posted at 2:42PM Tue, 15 December 2009

Alright I think we have all the major bugs fixed in the calendar. Just click on the day's event and you will see the pop up "view details" and from there be able to see what the surprise is. Thank you for your patience.

dsbarina ( posted at 5:43AM Wed, 16 December 2009

i still do not get anything on the calander or when clicking on view details

PandaB5 ( posted at 10:18AM Wed, 16 December 2009

I agree with ThreeDeep - I'm receiving your notifications as plain text with the html code in code / text format. Would it be possible to not send out notices when something closes or give us the option of not receiving those notices as I don't see the point of them?

StaceyG ( posted at 10:39AM Wed, 16 December 2009

I will work with the programmers to see about changing up the way the ebot notifications look. You can "unsubscribe" to the calendar so you don't receive any notifications but just remember that you will have to look each day to see what is going on for that day

AQuest ( posted at 2:47PM Wed, 16 December 2009

Thanks, seems to be working here now.

Kattey ( posted at 2:52PM Wed, 16 December 2009

Why "delete" for event option was deleted? I want back my control over my calendar, if you provided me with that thing. Renderosity has a freedom to add events, I want my freedom to delete them.

Jumpstartme2 ( posted at 3:09PM Wed, 16 December 2009

The 'delete' option is the event thumbnail, and there are a few options in that little pop up window..{view details,remind me, edit, and delete}

Dajadues ( posted at 11:14AM Thu, 17 December 2009

Not free right?!?

cyllan ( posted at 10:20AM Fri, 18 December 2009

The notifications are all coded in html but received as text. When I decode them and click on it, a good 75% are 'this event no longer exists'. Do you send them out in the last hour or what?

tiggersprings ( posted at 10:22AM Wed, 23 December 2009

Why does the calendar show the last day of the Pretty3D sale as tomorrow (the 24th)? The sale page says the sale ends on Christmas day. Is this going to be like the Holiday to Remember sale and the prices will end before 11:59 PM CST on the date listed? I don't understand why you would complicate things so by deviating from the normal rule of sale prices ending at 11:59 PM on the date listed on the product page. Not everybody is in the same time zone as Rendo so that "norm" makes it easier to shop here for the rest of us. That being said, I appreciate the sales. Thank you to Rendo and vendors involved. ;)

Savage_dragon ( posted at 12:54PM Fri, 25 December 2009

I got a lot of great sales items. Thanks so much to the generous vendors! I must say though, I was hoping for something a little more special for Christmas day. Still, it was a great run!
