Morgana Le Fay, is known in Britain as the fairy Morgana, among other names, appears in the stories of King Arthur. The name comes from Celtic and morgaine mean women who came from the sea can write or Morgaine Morgan. Morgaine is also well known in Italy by a phenomenon called Fata Morgana translating Fairy Morgana. Stories based on the legends of King Arthur believe that Morgaine was a priestess of the Isle of Avalon, in Brittany, in other versions, was half-sister of Arthur, a witch who wanted to malign all forms withdraw his powerful sword Excalibur. As Daughter of Igraine and Gorlois, Duke of Cornwall.

Morgana Le Fay, sendo conhecida na Grã-Bretanha como Morgana das Fadas, dentre outros nomes, aparece nas histórias do Rei Artur. O nome morgaine tem origem celta e quer dizer Mulher que veio do mar pode se escrever Morgaine ou Morgan. Morgaine também é muito conhecida na Itália por um fenômeno chamado Fata Morgana traduzindo Fada Morgana. As lendas baseadas nos contos do Rei Arthur acreditam que Morgaine foi uma sacerdotisa da Ilha de Avalon, na Bretanha, em outras versões, foi meia-irmã de Artur, uma feiticeira maligna que queria de todas as formas retirar sua poderosa espada Excalibur. Sendo Filha de Igraine e Gorlois, Duque da Cornualha.
