oh, in zoom this has sterling clarity, Maria, and such grace in the details...The meadowlark is beautifully posed, and with beautiful yet soft detail...and the branches go from scraggly-sharp to those "rays of light" behind it (they're branches, but they look like rays of something)]. And your background is a quiet sea of greens and browns...Your composition is exquisite and open, and articulated with great sensitivity. Masterful gentle work. I hope your Christmas season is filled with joy and love, Maria...you always share those things with us.
