Quite the quaint little house environment! Hard packed dirt floor and all!

In those years, we were satisfied with little... Nice historical picture.

Nice photograph! Really puts things in perspective as to how simple life once was...free from all the entanglements of our possessions! For better or for worse this is the world we live in now! Excellent! :-)

Frontier living in the Territories. It was hard living in the west in the 1900's. Especially in out of the way small towns.

A time without running water or electricity... Even so, it looks quite cozy and pleasant. Great shot of it, Richard.

great light in this, and you captured the really enclosed feeling of it. I didn't realize there was so much earth and stone in it. It's really a cave. Love the photo. Love the light. (I'd love to visit this couple and say, "nice carpeting!" They'd probably throw me out...) Really fine capture of this cave-like space.
