The new meter route has some nice views . This is the Wabash River from the Carrollton bridge .

Not sure about Tom and Huck but this spot is very close to a Historical spot called French Post it is where the Miami and Pottawattmi " spell check" used to trade furs at a trading post .It is now a small community fishing site.
