Description
First of all, thanks to cyphyr. The clouds are a tweak of something cyphyr came up with and shared at the Planetside forum. They are volumetric although this POV doesn't show them off very well in that respect.
Thanks for comments on the last image. Maybe I'm getting too critical. Looking back, I suppose it is better than I thought.
I messed this one up slightly as well though. The seed like surfaces were not meant to be distributed everywhere. Redistributing the displacements would have been easy enough but I later realized that this surface was influencing colour everywhere as well which will be more difficult to fix. This planet is covered in these mushroom like forms. In fact, this POV shows relatively few of them. I've not explored much yet but I'm expecting to find some crazy stuff.
