This new TerraFirma morph pack for TerraDome2 is so, so, SO much fun, it should be either illegal or immoral, heh.
This started as a pair of TD2 figures forming a windy path across an otherwise flat (and untextured) world. The first morph I put on it (ShadowPass from TerraFirma) gave me this excellent gorge in a row of distant hills. I ended up playing with it for a while. I thought it might look cool with some water, then re-purposed the secondary TD2 from a road surface to the big volcano. I had to juggle it a little with small rotation and huge translation, get the volcano sat on top of the original gorge that had morphed up.
A very fun image to make. I'll probably come back to this and populate it more, but the idea was to show the river and gorge that it's feeing from. :)

Interesting scene. I think the tree, stump and mushrooms seem to be brighter and more saturated than the landscape around them. Their internal shadows don't match the shadows of the landscape itself. This is a function of environmental color and atmosphere so they ought to match. Worth working on, I think. Once these matters are figured out they work for everything you do in the future.
