Description
Not just NVIATWAS.
The image came to me like a Tarot card. It certainly seemed archetypal:
A woman stands in a structure of her making. It is beautiful because she cares about her creations. She has struggled, and bears the scars and wounds of her struggle. Her armor against the world is battered and imperfect; she is vulnerable, but unbowed.
She has contended not with a sword, to divide, but with her will, to create, symbolized by a staff. Behind her, Nature and the subconscious (river) provide the raw materials.
She has mastered the ravaging passions as symbolized by the dragon/serpent. They aren't gone, just controlled for the time being. They have rendered their wisdom, which is ancient, so that she may build with it. Today, she is in harmony with the serpent.
Pleased with her efforts, she pauses to evaluate them, passing the staff into her off hand.
Production notes: DM set with V4 and the DAZ serpent-dragon. MRL Astrid character ended up wearing the AlfaSeed Sisterhood skin and a nice skullcap. Her topknot isn't very visible against the dragon's wing, but it's there. The background is a separate image which I created and rendered in Vue 2014 Infinite. Postwork for frame etc. in Photoshop. Main render in Poser Pro 2014.
