The massive figure swooped up Sam with one arm, holding her close.
Sam felt a surge of energy flow thru her body as her wounds began to heal.
"Who or what are you?" Samarah thought to herself as she soaked up the energy flow.
"My name is Haramas", the entity said. Only she did not hear the sound of the words. The words came through to her in thought.
"Haramas?" she thought.
"Yes", said Haramas. "As to What I am, I am your Spirit Guide. I am also your Angel of Death when your time comes. Now is not your time to join us. There is much you need to do yet. I am just here now because you are in dire need of healing. There is no time for you to lounge about. You need to get up and get going."
"What is it exactly that I need to do that is so important?" Samarah said.
"You know what it is. It will come to you naturally. It is not for me to discuss with you.", Haramas said.
"But I thought you said you were my Spirit Guide, so why can't you tell me or show me what it is I need to do?, Samarah said.
"I am only your Spirit Guide, not your mother. I can’t hold your hand and take you on your path, you need to do it yourself."
Samarah scoffed and said, "Some Spirit Guide you are! You can’t even tell me where or what I need to do! And what is that ridiculous...get up you are wearing?! It looks like something scavenged from the dump!"
Haramas set Samarah on her feet and said, "This is my warrior attire! It is made of the finest materials! Let me remind you that I am not only your Spirit Guide, but also your Angel of Death! I can zap you of all your energy and end your journey here and now just as easily!" Haramas looked admiringly over his attire and spat, "Scavenged from the dump indeed!"
"How am I to know when I see you again if you are coming to help or coming to end me?" Samarah thought.
"Simple", Haramas shrugged, "I will be dressed differently." he said as a big smile ran across his face.
Samarah shuddered and give a weak laugh and thought to Haramas, "Oh, I see. Well I thank you sir for your assistance. I greatly appreciate it, and I am sorry about the comment on your clothing. Well, I guess I should be on my way. I need to catch up with the group. I need to get my garlic back!"
"Oh", Haramas said, "before I forget", he held out his hand to Sam and in his palm was her garlic!
"But how..." she started.
"I lifted it off of your thief without him feeling a thing", Haramas snickered, apparently pleased with himself.
Samarah grasped the garlic from Haramas and said, "Thank you!"
Haramas gave a huge smile and disappeared in a mist of fog.
Samarah stood for a moment trying to grasp everything that just happened to her.
She straightened her hair and looked over her clothing.
"Wow", she thought to herself, "Even my clothing is fixed to perfection! Dude has a thing for cloths that’s for sure!"
"Your welcome!" she heard loudly in her thoughts.
Startled, she looked all around her and saw nothing but the pile of bones at her feet.
"Not so loud!" she thought back at him.
She heard a faint snicker and she started walking in search of her group or a portal.

Gorgeous image and a fun story. Will Samarah fid out that she is Hamaras? (Nice play on words or names as it turns out to be!) Really a very artistic creation btw!
