After completing the first six ritualistic trials of leadership, an aspraint contender for the throne of the remote mountain kingdom of Amymiss needs only to finish the seventh and final task to have their claim upheld by the Ancients Of Amymiss. It is a simple task, on the face of it. All that is required is that the candidate seize the two great diamond gems that are the Heart and Soul of Amymiss, and taking one in each hand show them to the people from the high tower of the mountain temple of Eragen. There is only one minor problem which the Lady of the Watch now explains to Prince Rynald. First the Heart and Soul must be taken from the Last Guardian. The Last Guardian is very sensitive to movement. He is highly poisonous. And he bites....
Ok, this little story is a way for me to try a better gemstone render. The diamonds are from 3D lapidary
They are Bob Keller's "4 hummer". I used a very subtle point light in each one to bring out the "brilliance". Rendering was with boosted internal relections using exactly the same settings as described in my Neyna image.
The model of the Lady of the Watch is the 3D celebrity Belle from DAZ but with a different applied texture. The hair is Quarker's Jaguar hair also from DAZ. The diamond stands (one over turned by the Guardian) were modelled by me in Hexagon as was the funnel that leads to his home. There's some boolean modelling in Vue by me for the structure of the altar of the diamonds. And last but ceratinly by no means least are all other items as credited. Hope I haven't overlooked any credits.
Thanks for viewing.
