Putting the TD2 roads and paths through their paces at the moment, seeing how nicely they play with the TD2 base norphs, as well as our TerraFirma morphs. So far, a good proportion of existing morphs have taken the additional roads really well. Some of the more extreme morphs will likely have a restricted use of the roads. I'm thinking of things like 'Big Rugged Mountain' from the base morphs, or 'Mount Thunder' from TerraFirma. While the roads will apply to them, on some of those really big morphs, they won't look right. Sialling back some of the bigger FBM's will give a much nicer result from the roads.
This image was one of those test setups, and I really liked the way the road was meandering up the hills, so just had to render it more thoroughly, As you do. Heh. And after getting materials on everything, the interaction between the two instances of terradome, in particular along the edges where they meet. This set is going to get a LOT of use in this house. :)

Fine image. My problem with Terradome 2 was not having enough documentation on how materials worked.

I like that the road leads off over the horizon, to destinations unknown! The road looks great, too, and well-integrated into the environment.
How cool that you're working on a roads add-on for TD2 (I've been kinda out of the loop). I've tried creating paths for TD2 both through custom trans maps for the A zone and by shaping new geometry on top of an A zone morph, but I'm positive whatever you come up with will be a huge improvement over my DIY methods!
