Description
I don't have a story to go with this picture; the image just kind of popped into my head. Feel free to make up your own story if you like. Hopefully all of you are staying healthy and sane, and taking a little time every once in a while to forget the rest of the world and enjoy some art.

The sun was sinking ever closer to the horizon, long past time for the carriage to show. The count's niece would have made for good ransom, perhaps even strong enough to convince the tyrant to cease his campaign altogether.
But she was late, and the light would be too poor to make the shot before much longer. Briva sighed, tucking her arrow back into the heavily laden quiver. Perhaps tomorrow would prove luckier. If the girls slipped past in the dark, well, she'd still have to make the return trip along the same road.
Briva stood, eyes searching back, back along the long and winding road for signs of dust, listening intently for the clatter of carriage wheels on worn cobbles. Only there was no sign of anything. Just a pair of hawks circling something distant in the lazy summer sky.

You did a fantastic job on this one. I really like the character and the scene. Your camera placement is really neat in that it takes her off to the side and all of the elements play really nicely together.
