Description
According to whom you read, the Great Hole (The Grand Canyon), was formed within the last 25 to 75 million years by the Colorado river and erosion. Thats quite a long time before humans existed! Even more interesting is the fact that the top of the canyon represents current geological time whereas the bottom of the canyon represents portions of the Earth from 2 Billion years ago. As you hike down the canyon time slips into the past when the entire universe was quite different than today. Something to think about.
Thank you all so very much for all your wonderful comments and I wish to thank you for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appreciated but valued highly.
