Description
The Elven KIng Fingon faces Gothmog, lord of Balrogs under Morgoth. Gothmog unfortunately wins when another Balrog comes from behind and is able to bind Fingon with a flaming chain whip. In that moment Gothmog cleaves Fingon's skull with his Black Ax. One day Gothmog pays as another Elven King sacrifices himself to slay the demon.
Based on stories from the Silmarillion.

Fan-freaking-tastic work on this epic scene, Art! Wow - you've really made Gothmog look powerful and scary enough to make even Morgoth quiver....
I need to dig out the Silmarillion and give it a read - it's been years. And I don't think even Peter Jackson could make a trilogy out of that..
