Jim, This really is an amazing looking painting. I always enjoy seeing the art you put in your shows.

makes me think of my Daughter's room when she was a little girl - lol
went back up to take another look at it and saw a tag at the bottom saying artist of the month, did you win something for this image? I don't think I've ever just painted in this style, but I know a lot of people go crazy over it - taste is in the eye of the beholder.... you know, the guy that eats eyeballs - lol
No,I didn't win anything for this image. But,February is my turn as a gallery member to have my show. Also, today I got a phone call from a newspaper reporter from the Denver Post. They are sending a photographer over to the gallery on Friday to take some pictures of some of the work. That is sort of a prize.Nice publicity.

An interesting style. I like the colors and the shapes. Excellent painting!

I can see the creative zest in this piece of work, acrylics are very flexible, don't have to wait ages for them to dry unlike oils and also you can dilute them down to a watercolour level too yet they can be as impasto as oils if need be.. devil if you get them on any soft furnishings or clothes and it's allowed to dry. A great choice for abstract art.
