Been nearly a year since I last worked on my Dryad figure.
I was all gung-ho to release my Dryad to the wild last year, but ran into several problems. The first was that I really didn't know anything about textures and materials in Poser, so I had to teach myself the basics. The second thing that held up this figure from being released is that I don't know a damn thing about creating/copying morphs.
The Dryad you see here is really two figures. The leafy part is a SSS skin texture adopted for leaves applied to a standard V4 model. The branches are the Dryad herself, conformed to the leafy V4 model. I'm quite proud that she can bend and move just like V4!
The eyes were problematic for the longest time, but the solution was obvious in hindsight.
I think I solved the leafy skin problem, but the morphs are still beyond my reach. I want the Dryad figure to be able to use the same morphs that V4.2 uses. But as the Dryad shares NONE of the same mesh (only the shape) as V4, copying/inserting V4 morphs results in some rather spectacular fails.
So any of you Poser masters out there that want to take pity on this Noob and help him with the morphs, please inquire.
