Description
I took this picture on my grandmother's 90th
birthday. I'm sharing this with all of you. A
granddaughter's love for grandmother.
The love I have is great and strong,
The love she had lasted just as long.
We shared a life that no one can have,
Stories of her youth made me live her past.
She's me and I'm her, I'll miss her touch
that's all I'll yearn. Thank you for
your teachings through your life's journey,
Grandma your my rock, the sun that shines.
Knowing that you're beside all the time.

The Elders are our greatest TEACHERS. If only some would take the time to sit with them and listen to their stories and the life they enjoyed. She has the spirit and wisdom in her eyes. I'm glad you and her were that close. She is always by your side. Taino TI

As I'm seeing this treasure, I realize that I have missed a lot: I've never known any of my grandparents. It warms the heart to know that you hold your grandmother so dear. And it's a wonderful photo of a grand lady.

I must also add my grandmother passed away 5years ago and I know for a fact that she's always looking out for me. she was my inspiration and my teacher, she was the one that taught me to be the woman I am now.
