I got inspired by scanmead's umbrella modelling question thread and took a stab at it. This is a lightly hyperrnurbed cone with a stack of deformers added. (don't have clothilde)

Exactly on target, in Britain anyway. Rainy climate does not explain the suits' inevitable umbrella even when there is not the vaguest threat of rain. Vestigial sword does, especially in regard to the swashbucklers, who walk and thrust.... Superb!

Floor, briefcase and kickboard are in the zone you seek. The door is "catching" too much attention in a bad way. Perhaps a dirtied up kick plate and variation in texture to muck it up. A pinch or pull on various parts of the umbrella fabric, too. You're very close. Robins egg blue...LOL Perfect.
