Description

Finally back online. Oh how I missed the internets! Might as well have cut an arterial vein and bled out :P heh. Anyways, back to business.

This is a new car, invneted, doesn't exist outside my computer, and now Renderosity. It's a mid engine car, with a supercharged v8 (yip, it's modeled as an extra prop) I might yet make another v10 or v12, haven't decided. Oh and there are brake glow maps as well which were used here with some considerable post processing.

Anyways, it's on Swidhelm's Raceway which is nearing completion, and is a huge file. The obj is 110 megs, and all the textures . . . I'm hoping I can trim some fat and get her online in the next couple of weeks.

WOW! Darrin, you are pulling out all the stops on this project. Looks amazing! the new car design and brake glow are nice too. Glad you're back online :)

Everyone once in a rare while, you come across one of those renders that are so superbly well done, it just floors ya from its awesomeness... Makes me wanna be there. Guess I'll have to settle for queuing up a playlist in winamp, then sit back and relax ;) Wicked render! Totally love the motion blurring and the lighting and the moody atmospherics... Talk about totally jaw-dropping! That car looks super sweet.... Can only imagine what you'd be able to come up with for a motorbike of same or similar sleek styling :) Nice work man, that's an instant fav!
