Description

These three images represent an unexceptional one-and-a-quarter-second span in the life of a rather ordinary Forster's Tern. It's hard to grasp the struggle for survival that most creatures face every day.
See how he dives right into his own shadow? And as usual, he comes up empty-handed. Or empty-billed, anyway.
