Good morning to you all and especially to all my dear friends from the States!
I hope that the Inauguration of your new President, Jo Biden, will be peaceful and without bloodshed today. It is remarkable to see, that the Army and all the other Security Guards have taken all precautions so far.
Here you are dealing with Criminals, who absolutely must be made tangible before they can cause more mischief today and in the future.
Now I'm off, because I'm watching CNN!
PS. Robert De Niro said so well in an interview a few weeks ago: "Even criminals have honor (he meant the Mafia), but Donald Trump has none at all".

Thank you for the sentiment, Ute. I pray that the traitors will be kept away today and beyond. I'm tired of their acts, and hope they will ALL be brought to justice. There can be no "unity and healing" without accountability and justice. Republican lawmakers had better get on the side of truth and loyalty to the Constitution, or get the hell out of the way.

Macht en geld overheerst de wereld en dat is zeker ook in Amerika het geval, alhoewel zij denken dat zij beter zijn dan de rest !
Je hebt misschien gelijk, ik zeg altijd 'arrogantie komt voor de val', dat was nog steeds het geval bij het bladeren door de geschiedenisboeken, maar de VS moeten zich 100% omdraaien om te zien of ze dat kunnen doen en ons de toekomst laten zien!

Thank you for this beautiful work and for the great message it contains. Those of us here in the States who have been against this poisonous way of thinking are glad that the change went without incident. We appreciate the supportive messages from abroad. But this is our problem and we have to face up to the evil that Trump brought to the surface. He is not in power any more but the racism, paranoia and greed he promoted is still very much here. Help us by lifting your voices against this way of thinking. Sent a world wide message to those how wish it to continue that it must not. Both in the US and in your own countries. In the US, direct the message to the Republican Party and the business owners that you will not do business with us unless we correct our problems. If they see their bottom line threatened they will react.
I have been thinking for a long time what to answer you, here is the answer of a human being who has lost his faith in God: "Because we do not have to fight with flesh and blood, but with mighty and mighty people, with the lords of the world who rule over this darkness, with the evil spirits under heaven". Thank you my dear friend for your kind words and hope for this country. We will persevere and we will come out of this stronger and more aware of what democracy really means. For all the evil and lies told by a small and impotent bigot, I have seen great and inspirational patriotism from those I least trusted. When it comes to our cherished democracy we have truly rejected those that would commit treason while draping themselves in a flag and pretending to be patriots.
