Okay, I've had a few people wonder at the direction my art has taken because of my recent foray into cars. I certainly plan on doing a lineup of classic American muscle cars, and a 1968 Mustang GT 390 Fastback (Bullitt) is in the works already, and is probably going to be the next product to be released, though the way I work there are no guarantees on that. :P I may end up setting it aside for a bit while I work on something else.
However, having said that, I am working on fantasy stuff still. Fantasy is truly where my heart always has and always will lay... lie... whatever. heh. Sci-fi to a lesser extent.
So, figured I'd post a pic of this. I haven't worked on it in a while, other than a bit today. I am not working on this frequently as I am doing other projects for the market place, but this will get done eventually, and will be free.
As you can tell I've taken a different direction from the last one I did, and used many more reference images. This time I wanted that animal back leg, like alien 3, or resurrection. But I wanted that bio-mechanical look of the original. Again I will likely have optional domes.
This is by no means near done. As you can see the lower legs have no detail yet, and the tail has only a rough shape. The back isn't done either, and the hands need some more work. Might lengthen the jaw a bit yet too, but I don't know. I like the way the head has turned out.

Nothing wrong with a little variety when creating art,it helps avoid getting stuck in a repetitious cycle...Looking forward to your finished version..Cool looking thus far! -Will-

Wow, it does look like you combined the original Alien with the Alien 3 creature's legs. With something else in there I can't quite place. Your model is fantastic so far.
