My first image of
ND de la Salette
uploaded (in July) on R’osity
was also my first attempt at selective coloring :
Here, no postwork needed :
just the snow-clad chapel and the majestic trees!
Thank you very much for your comments on my previous upload :
“Magenta Mist (snow-clad walk #13)"
I’m happy to see that you appreciated….

Elle est vraiment magnifique cette petite chapelle avec son manteau blanc ! Cela donne un effet frique ce lieu. Une chapelle dans une cathrale d'arbres... sublime Michel ! Gros gros bisous.

Hi Michel A lot more snow in the south then up North in Holland .... Even yesterdays dark clouds didn't give any real snow in the western part of NL!! A very peaceful nice winter scenery in the middle of a forest delicated covered with snow. Very well done, enjoy your day Henk

This could have been taken right down the road from me here in North Carolina - the areas look so alike. Great photograph Michel! Have a great and wonderous day!

It seems everyone has snow except us. Here it has been raining nonstop for over 12 hours and it feels like we are about to roll out the arc and start loading things up in two's. As for the lovely photograph, this chapel is gorgeous. It also makes a perfect, though small, studio or study for an artist or writer. Thank you for sharing and a Happy New Year to you. Egmont

I love this. How old is this little chapel? These are the things that I just love finding when I'm out and about. The things that make you stop and savour the moment. You know you have to shoot it. Well done.
