Description

It was the road of destiny. Even today after being immortalized in song, film, literature and the hearts of millions, US route 66 is recognized as the nations most famous highway. And in its 75th anniversary year, you can still "get your kicks" on Route 66.
While purists insist the road begins in Chicago and ends in Los Angeles, for everybody else, Route 66 simply begins where you get on and end where you get off.
This is from a picture I took 2 weeks ago while traveling on 66 pulling my 5th wheeler.

This is terrific. The textures on the cows are not really "cowish", but they work, somehow, within the mythology of Route 66.

It has a really lively primitive folk-art feeling to it. The color harmonies are beautiful. Very enjoyable text!
