there is something about the formation that suggests (to me anyway) a creature melted and turned to stone, like someone throwing up there arms and going arggggh as they fall over, very dramatic landscape

the color and light you get in these nature shots is to die for. One after the next, you capture such presence. Beautiful shot of primal rock formations basking in the sun. Great forms, love the shadows, and you caught the strata too---we can really see the horizontal strata of earth here. Love those lower rocks too---the ones in dirtier, darker tones: Terrific job. And boy would I love to see this in Chicago...
