Description
As I continue to play around with Carrara, my stories, my Sirens, I know I need to work on landscapes more.
This was done in Carrara. I did try the demo version of Terrain tools for the shoreline but I couldn't get it to work. Used a modified Bryce technique for the shortline.
Truethfully, I am thinking seriously of Vue Complete for my nature/landcape work. I have Espirit 8 but I need to upgrade. I can get some good results in carrara but I always am battling it.
Anyway, hope you like Lynette taking a stroll on an island beach.

Beautiful image! The sea doesn't quite work but the rest looks good - and all eyes will be on Lynette anyway!

You did a great job on this one. I suspect you're right: Carrara's landscaping seems to be a little outdated, certainly when compared to Vue. I've been meaning to try a Vue landscape rendered as an HDRI/backplate combo. I've now got a version that allows import so I'm tempted to just render large scale things right in Vue. World Machine is invaluable for realistic heightmaps, too. (So much software, so little time!) And the footprints! Great touch.

Excellent lighting. Great scene. Great character. Not crazy about that rock texture in the background though.
